Cash for Clunkers

Indian Motorcycles Is Getting their Wheels Rolling

The government came up with a good idea, Cash for Junkers. Then Genuine Scooter Co climbed on the band wagon. The restrictions to their program was small, any 2 wheeler with a title that can be rolled or driven in to it’s dealership qualifies. Now, Indian Motorcycle is on deck and poviding a cash incentive program.

Indian is offering $3,000 toward a new 2009 Indian Chief to customers bringing in bikes on trade. Indian has a few more considerations than the government program and Genuine Scooter. The trade-in requires a street legal, 100cc or larger motorbike that is in running and rideable condition. Exclusions include scooters, mopeds and dirtbikes.

Yamaha Rhino Yamaha’s Steve Nessl, Marketing Manager of ATV & SxS Department and Robin Harfiel talk about the latest ATV activities at Yamaha. The firm has been under a cloud and has recently found blue sky in regards to their litigation issues.

Yamaha is also assisting nonprofit organizations with funds to assist trail riding. You don’t want to miss this update.

Interview with Eric Anderson by Robin HartfielScorpion Sports announced that it has terminated Eric Anderson, vice president and creator of the Scorpion brand of helmets and apparel. The decision was effective September 1.

This past summer Scorpion signed an agreement for Tucker Rocky distribute its product line, despite assertions made by Anderson when the company was founded that the brand would always be sold dealer-direct.
