Motorcyclist fired Dexter Ford after Arai and Shoei threatened to pull their ads. This was done, not because of anything he wrote for Motorcyclist–but for an article he wrote on helmets and helmet standards in the New York Times.

Robin Hartfiel Talks with Enrique the owner of Baja Cycles, THE OFFICIAL ACERBIS STORE, located in San Diego about his team’s participation in the 2009 edition of BAJA 500. They won and then they didn’t.
Baja racing was once about getting from Point A to Point B in the least amount of time with basically an anything goes policy. That’s all changed now and creative course selection is no longer a viable part of race strategy – now it’s cheating!

Robin Harfiel reports on the 2nd Annual Broc Glover Breathe Easy Ride Against Cystic Fibrosis. There were 3 rides including the separate Cruiser and Sportbike routes, which followed a scenic 100+-mile routes through San Diego and Riverside counties. and and a limited-entry, dual-sport ride, guided by AMA Hall of Fame off-roader Scot Harden.
